On May 7th, Brockwell will be hosting a new webinar featuring some of the latest features that integrate the worlds of Esri and Autodesk, like the Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS. This webinar is geared toward the engineering, utilities, transportation and infrastructure industries. Our specific focus will be on improved workflows for engineers, CAD designers and GIS professionals during the planning, design and construction phases of a project.
Esri and Autodesk have been working together to leverage GIS data throughout the engineering project lifecycle. These specific software integrations allow users to introduce geographic context within a project so they can assess environmental impact, collect and analyze data from the field, and improve communications with key stakeholders. Merging the worlds of BIM and GIS also benefits the construction and management of assets by adding important geographic context to construction planning and documentation, and providing valuable GIS information for asset management.
In this webinar, we will show users how these integrations can benefit their projects throughout the engineering process, from planning and design to construction and asset management. We will present a demonstration on how to access approved data sources for engineering designs using new features and processes within ArcGIS and Autodesk software. The webinar will specifically focus on the functions a user might follow in the planning and design process and how they can integrate the use of data from ArcGIS into their current projects. By the end of the webinar, we hope to give you a clear picture of the business value that can be gained from integrating engineering workflows with BIM and GIS.
Register now and we’ll see you on May 7th!
