2016 has brought some great changes to Brockwell IT Consulting. Here is just a short wrap up of what we have done and what lies ahead…
New Team Members
Casey van der Grient has joined our team as VP of Business Development. Casey has extensive knowledge of the Telecom and Utilities industries. Casey’s previous experience with Spatial Info, Autodesk and Nortel has brought substantial domain knowledge to our team.
Rick Johnston has joined Brockwell IT to support the Government and Reality Capture investments that Brockwell IT is making. Rick will be leading those initiatives as well as providing technical consulting based on his previous experience with Autodesk, Wolpert and the USAF. With his combined experience in data capture, 3D modeling and geospatial infrastructure, we are looking forward to having Rick on the team driving a new vision for 3D infrastructure capture and visualization with our customers.
We have been working hard to develop some new products and expand on existing capabilities of our current products and services. In the coming months, we will have webinars focusing on:
Reality Capture – May
We are using Rick’s knowledge of reality capture to create a short webinar demonstrating the potential workflows that can be created using infrastructure data capture from the field. We are including a demonstration of the process and an explanation of what is capable with a few tools and some instruction.
Mobile and Field Solutions – July
In this webinar, we will be covering some of the asset inspection tools we have developed to be used in a mobile inspection environment. We will be featuring a demonstration of our mobile inspection app and the potential capabilities of using the inspection data in an existing infrastructure model.
What’s new with the Brockwell Telecom Module
We have been working on the Brockwell Telecom Module as a part of several projects and we are planning a webinar to showcase some of the newest plans. We are interested also to hear from our customers in what they would like to see developed on the Telecom Module.
Big Data: Accessing Point Cloud databases
We posted about the potential for large amounts of data to be stored and queried in this previous post, and as we continue to develop the solution, we will have a webinar featuring the capabilities of this new product. Check out our previous post and then sign up for the webinar here.
